The Masterplan v1.2.2
Shark Punch PROTECTION: -
The games we released yesterday were nuked for the hilarious reason for beeing oversized.
I'd just like to quote some lines from the original ruleset 201 0day ruleset:
"3.3) The games disk limit is as of now 80 x 5,000,000 bytes or 40 x 10,000,000
bytes (or comparable for 1,444,000 and 2,888,000 bytes). This e
uates to a
total of 400,000,000 bytes of compressed data. Volumes of 1,444,000 and
2,888,000 bytes are allowed, as long as the release does not exceed 99 disks."
One would think the limit is 400.000.000 bytes, but smart people read the next part of the rules as well:
"Any release must have less than 100 volumes. In case 10,000,00 bytes do not suffice, you are allowed to use volumes of larger size up to 50,000,000 bytes."
So this would allow us to do a release with 99 x 50.000.000 bytes which results in 495.000.000.0 bytes, which is rougly 5 Gigabyte. Although some people, who wrote the rule said "It wasn't meant like that", it clearly says that releases with 99 x50mb disks are allowed. Learn to write, or stop doing shit rules, thanks
Additionally please note, that for example CORE did releases waaaay beyond those limits and those releases where accepted as well. Since we do not live in the 80s or 90s anymore its crazy to keep these standards - ITS FUCKING TIME FOR NEW RULES
