SqlSpec will generate easy-to-read documents for any database SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Analysis Server, or Access. According to one or more lines of connection, SqlSpec will generate documentation about all tables, forms, stored procedures, triggers, indexes, schemas, assemblies, CLR procedures, collections schemes xml, synonyms, symmetric and asymmetric keys, user-defined types and user-defined functions in your database.
This program also shows you what you are depending on (which tables point to other tables via foreign keys, which tables are used in stored procedures, etc.).
This program will show the code for each trigger type, a user-defined functions, check constraints, and stored procedures in the database.
SqlSpec outflow generates reports in HTML and CHM formats. You can configure this program to add external objects (such as web pages, COM objects and other external code) in the documentation. You can even interact with other objects, depending on the graphs generated by SqlSpec.
From SqlSpec you can easily synchronize the documentation with the actual database, since you simply run SqlSpec in your database, all your documentation is always updated.
