LockCrypt offers a central location to manage your passwords, accounts, telephone numbers and other difficult to remember information. It's free and open source and translations into many languages are available.
LockCrypt can use either 256 bit AES or Twofish encryption to scramble the information you enter, making it useless to anyone without the password. Accounts can be exported as HTML, XML, CSV or text files. Accounts can be organised into groups and assigned an icon. There are different view modes to enable quick sorting of accounts based on name, type or the creation or modified date.
LockCrypt can automatically type data into other applications, and a Firefox extension lets LockCrypt automatically save form data from web pages, then automatically fill in your username, password and other data.
There's support for a file based database or MySQL, so you can use the same account database from multiple locations. LockCrypt includes a password generator which can generate passwords up to 511 characters in length. These can include any combination of uppercase and lowercase letter, digits, brackets or extended ASCII characters.
LockCrypt includes a robust password generator which generates random passwords according to a specified format, and can also export to CSV, XML or plain text files, enabling you to easily transfer data between applications. It can also import from XML files.
