Kanye West brings his vision to life in his highly-anticipated short film Runaway. The 35-minute visuals were directed by West, written by Hype Williams, and art directed by Vanessa Beecroft. Filmed in Prague, the soundtrack features songs from the rappers fifth album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, including Devil in a New Dress, POWER, All of the Lights with Rihanna, Lost in the World, and the title track Runaway.
Described as a tale of loss and renewal, the ambitious story stars Kanye as Griffin and supermodel Selita Ebanks as The Phoenix, who crashes down to Earth and falls in love with her rescuer. Nicki Minaj narrates the beginning of the film in her British accent and Ye pays homage to the late Michael Jackson.
