IconBox 2.0 is an iPhoto like application that enables you to store, manage & change your icons or dock using simple drag & drop like functionality which has been seamlessly integrated into our new "Box" system.
You can now drag icons from the finder into a box as well as create unlimited sub boxes including our new "Smart Box" which functions similarly to the smart playlist in iTunes.
IconBox 2.0 now fully supports the import & export of the iContainer storage format.
The first Icon Organizer for Mac OS X now has full icon & dock customization capabilities. You can now modify your default system icons, hard disk icons, application icons & even the appearance of your dock with just the click of a button.
IconBox 2.0 also allows you to preview an icon in your dock without ever having to restart your Finder, combine these with our new iDrop & iLook feature set & what you get is a "Unique" customizing experience unlike any other.
The Tools section was designed to be the swiss army knife for today's icon enthusiast. We are proud to introduce "X-Ray" the first tool in our expandable toolkit. The X-Ray tool scans your hard disks & quickly displays all currently installed apps.
With the click of a button you can scan any application revealing all icons used within that apps core package as well as export the icon contents of the package in its pre existing format. X-Ray also allows you to filter the various file types. More tools will be freely provided with future updates.
IconBox 2.0 now has a robust online mode which enables you to easily access a plethora of high quality icons form around the net. You can now search the extensive icon database at Iconfinder.com from within the app as well as download any icon directly into your downloads box.
The Icon Of The Day section is a daily showcase of extreme talent & with a new icon & artist featured each day, your anticipation will never die. The new Sites section will feature only the best icon websites available & will be constantly updated.
What's new Version 2.0.1 : -It's no longer possible to delete icons from the trash.
