The first hour in this tutorial teaches an overview of the user interface, creating and using compositions, keyframing and using the timeline, looping animation, editing motions paths and plenty more basics. This is am essential strater course for anyone not already familliar with After Effects. * Part 2: Creating the Arrivals Board Effect
The last two hours focus on creatiing the main project above. You`ll learn how to apply filter effects and masks to comps, animate 3D transformation, include a camera, loop sounds, and plenty more tips about using the timeline and compositions. You`ll also learn how to use a single letter flipping sequence to create an entire board of words without having to create the effect over and over againeach time. This makes use of some simple scripting in After Effects.
